I have – as usual – spread myself too thin this month. It is not my favourite month of the year despite it being a month of growth and refreshment it being spring and all that! Sadly, it is the month of my Mum’s birthday, the month we lost her and Mother’s day all rolled into one. I know many of you will know what this month feels like. As with most months I tend to be busy – just like you – but this month I CRAM with busy….not to forget but so I dont dwell. Okay – enough – lets have some pics!!!!
First up is Sweet Stampin who have the challenge of TRANSPORT! Hmm….this could have been the perfect male card but I had this image and I adore it so it had to be this….
I love this image and the bicycle is just adorable. Why not head over to Sweet Stampin’ and check out the challenge for your self ? (Link Here) Add your make to the blog and join us in some fun – we would love to see what you make for our TRANSPORT challenge.
Next up is a card I made for CharismaCardz (Link Here) –
Looks like more transport doesnt it? Its actually Birthday Girls!!! now I tend to go over the top with girlyness for girls cards but I thought about a pal I have who just isnt girly and this is what I came up with! Hope you like it!
Now over at That Craft Place (Link Here) things have been a-changing! The Dt has been shook up and some new girls have come in – I am delighted to say that I am still on the team!!!! YAYAY!! we have become two teams – one for The Natter and Chatter page and one for the blog and then we swap so at the moment the team I am in is on the Natter and Chatter page offering help and inspiration so here is something I made exactly for that…
Yes its a tag and is actually way out of my comfort zone – lots of daubing and spritzing going on but I actually really enjoyed making it. The next challenge – if you want to join us – will be starting very soon – all abilities welcome! head on over to Facebook and the That Craft Place Natter and Chatter page and join us for some crafty fun.
Okay that is me until the next time…remember to stamp your place in the world! xxxx
Good Morning Ladies, How are you doing today? We have lovely weather – cool but bright and sunny, such a welcome change from the rain which seems to have lasted FOREVER!!! Hopefully we have seen the last of that and can move forward into spring with the water table topped up and our gardens looking lush and fresh!
Talking of spring yesterday was St George’s day!!! First day of Spring – my Mum’s birthday, I miss her very much – but a day of joy and I know my Mum would have loved to see my garden which is full of snowdrops, crocus’s and daffy’s starting to come out, my Mum’s favourite were Jonquill’s. St George’s day is is not really celebrated here in the UK which is a shame but I am bringing you a card which is totally St George’s…featuring a dragon…
The image comes from Ditzie Digi Designs (Link Here) who is sponsoring the challenge this time over at That Craft Place (Link Here). There are some amazing digi designs over there which you will find featured on here over the coming months….and lots more int he pipeline too!!!
The image here was coloured with Coloursoft pencils on Kraft and I sprinkled some Frantage over it, the paper and ribbons were in my stash but pretty much everything came form That Craft Place – I know that they also do the Polychromos pencils which are similar to the Coloursoft as a wax based pencil but with lots of vibrancy! Head over and chat with the guys there, they will help you find what you are looking for!
Until next time remember to stamp your place in the world! xxxx
PS – my good friend Susan Moffat has just pointed out to me that yesterday was actually St Davids day and NOT St Georges day as I have written above….That’ll be why we dont really celebrate St Georges Day – cos I clearly dont know when it is!!!! It’s 23rd April 2014 – which was my Nanna’s birthday so I really should know better!!!! Right away to confuse myself some more….xxxx
Somehow I managed to miss my post last week – I thought I had scheduled it but NO! it did not post and rather than give you out of date stuff I thought I would post uptodate and then show you what you missed!
So….I am delighted to bring you a card I have made for Sweet Stampin blog challenge (link here) when the fun challenge was cute this time – I used a terrific and versatile Cuddly Buddly image (Link Here) of this super cute teddy….
I teamed the image up with a memory box die cut window which I have not used previously and actually love! The teddy was coloured with copics. and the flowers are another Memory Box die cut.
So the image that should have loaded last week is this one which was for Love to Create Challenge blog (link here) –
This a The Stamping Chef image coloured with Copics and some papers that I have had in my stash for quite a while now. I do hope you like these.
Until next time (which should be very soon!!!!) remember to stamp your place in the world!!!
