Valentines day approaches and as with every year I am stupefied with fear over what to make for MB – He is waaaay more romantic than I am and will present me with a beautiful card, romantic verse and mountains of love inside….sometime I even get a little gift from him although I refuse for him to buy me flowers – they hike up the price so much and they don’t last anything like as long as normal!!!
So this year I have made two cards….
This is a CASe from one I found on Pinterest although I changed the paper, the colour AND the little hearts so maybe it is best to say inspired by…? And the second one….
This one feel a little plain but it is a freebie from a magazine, hand coloured so feels much more MINE! Which do you prefer?

PETAL LU HAVE A DT CALL OUT!!!
I am so excited – I have been with this team, in one form or another for a couple of years and consider myself blessed to be in this team! They are wonderful girls, amazing team members and have become lovely friends! My crafting has moved on immensely because of the friendship and artistic support these girls have given and continue to give.
Okay…so my make for this challenge for Petal Lu…I bought these amazing glimmer flowers from Petal Lu a little while ago and used them very sparingly because I loved them so much but… these amazing flowers are meant to be used so….here is my project….It was inspired by one that I saw on Pinterest and now cannot find again, so if you recognise aspects of this card, please message me so I can give correct recognition for it.

We were very fortunate to be able to choose an image for this challenge – I choose this delightful image. It actually has a tiny sweet little bird underneath but I though I would turn it into a Valentines card by popping a heart on top.

So….What did I make? Well I have had this amazing stamp which was designed by the wonderful Lisa Horton for Creative Expressions and it’s called Make Gnome Mistake. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it! There will be a lot of gnomes around my home this Christmas as we are going a little Scandinavian in our decorations this year…..I will share pictures once we are trimmed up! In the mean time, I hope you are inspired by my make and don’t forget to join in with the challenge over at Petal Lu challenges

Yup – I am in love with the colours of autumn this year – I adore the reds, browns oranges and deep ochre yellows! It is such a colourful time…So I couldnt resist using autumn colours again for this challenge for Petal Lu….
