Love is in the Air…

Oh, yes, Love is definitely in the air and here is another post from me!!!  See how efficient I am? Well, no……………..not really. You know me too well!   This is me using the newly found ‘scheduler’…..so clever as I feel quite sure that when this goes out I will be happily sat in my bed enjoying a lovely cup of Sunday Morning tea!

Back to Love is in the Air – February is the time of love and I confess to not being the most romantic of people – something about being a little long in the tooth and all that although I am partial to the odd touch of romance……just a touch mind! So I always struggle with Valentines day, I get embarrassed with too much luuuurrrrvvvvvve!  But when I saw this image I knew it was the one I wanted to use and you see I couldnt resist a cheeky sentiment as well. Fortunately, MB knows how much he means to me and somewhat resembles the cute ted in this image.

The die cut frames are Spellbinders and together with the flowers, card stock and Copic pens I have used to colour the image, everything can be bought from That Craft Place! Yep – everything…(Link Here) The image I have used here is a Mo Manning one but did you know that Lisa Horton – owner of That Craft Place has now brought out a range of digi stamps herself? Why not check them out here at her Etsy online shop (Link Here) Ditzie Digi Designs and https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/DitzieDigiDesign…) and choose yourself a unique and fabulous digi image for your next project!

Until next time – remember to stamp your place in the world! xxx

A quick Post (Poste Haste ..perhaps?)

As you know I don’t enter challenges – almost never – and only share my projects on here with you girls but as part of my New Year resolutions I have decided to blow my own trumpet a bit …only a very tiny bit mind!!! I have decided to enter some challenges.  Lots of my crafty pals say “oh, I just won this….”, Or “I got first place at…” and I confess to a little craft envy…so here is my very first one – I am entering this “love” card using the Little Miss Muffet digi stamp and coloured with copics (yeah, you would have guessed that, right?)…. So the card is going to be entered for the Love challenge over at Little Miss Muffet stamps (Link to blog here), (Link to shop here)….

The papers, flowers, die cutters (Spell Binders), die cut hearts and cheese cloth are all available from That Craft Place and I know that they will be delighted to give you a hand if there is something you are particularly looking for so why not give them a shout? (Link here).

So this is me ‘having a go’ and I shall endeavour to ‘have  a go’ next week too – check back and see what I come up with next time….

Until next time remember to stamp your place in the world!!! xxx

For the men….and boys…..

Well here we are again – weather been a bit kinder and I have managed to get out into my garden and clear up some weeds – just the rest of the garden to work on now!!! and of course I am not working this weekend but it’s heaving down outside! makes me wish for sunnier climes….

The challenge! Yup it’s time for the men and boys and with Fathers day coming next month I am going to need all the inspiration I can get…. here are my entries….image0255

So this first card features one of the amazing Visible Image stamps – Edgar. He is a such a dashing chap. I love his sartorial elegance with the cane….I teamed this up with some Tim Holtz tickets, Stampin’ Up! card stock , cotton ribbon and DSP and some gorgeous Bo Bunny paper. this is called Cambridge stripe  and is the flip side – they always have two fantastic sides making it usually hard to choose which side to have upper most – but in this case I totally love the flip side!  I used Pro Markers to colour Edgar in with.image0254

This second card I made as a Thank you for the trainer we have had for six weeks at my new job. Again it is a Visible Image stamp – Edward – he is about my favourite I think. I wanted to team colours up for this project as I had coloured the image with my Tim Holtz Distress inks before I chose the paper etc so here we have Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles, Stampin Up card-stock, ribbon and twine, Bo Bunny Boo Hooligans paper, a Joy Crafts die cut and emboss paper scroll and some metallic findings. Phew!!! The edges are finished with some  gilding wax to shine up the edges and tie in the metallic finish. I really enjoyed this one and the guy who received loved it too which is always the aim!

These cards are for the ‘For the Men’ challenge over at That Craft Place and you can give the girls a ring for the products where they will be delighted to help you choose your favourites!  Why not have a go yourself and share your makes over at That Craft Place blog? We would love to see what you make!

Until next time….remember to stamp your place in the world! xxx
