Love is in the Air…

Oh, yes, Love is definitely in the air and here is another post from me!!!  See how efficient I am? Well, no……………..not really. You know me too well!   This is me using the newly found ‘scheduler’…..so clever as I feel quite sure that when this goes out I will be happily sat in my bed enjoying a lovely cup of Sunday Morning tea!

Back to Love is in the Air – February is the time of love and I confess to not being the most romantic of people – something about being a little long in the tooth and all that although I am partial to the odd touch of romance……just a touch mind! So I always struggle with Valentines day, I get embarrassed with too much luuuurrrrvvvvvve!  But when I saw this image I knew it was the one I wanted to use and you see I couldnt resist a cheeky sentiment as well. Fortunately, MB knows how much he means to me and somewhat resembles the cute ted in this image.

The die cut frames are Spellbinders and together with the flowers, card stock and Copic pens I have used to colour the image, everything can be bought from That Craft Place! Yep – everything…(Link Here) The image I have used here is a Mo Manning one but did you know that Lisa Horton – owner of That Craft Place has now brought out a range of digi stamps herself? Why not check them out here at her Etsy online shop (Link Here) Ditzie Digi Designs and https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/DitzieDigiDesign…) and choose yourself a unique and fabulous digi image for your next project!

Until next time – remember to stamp your place in the world! xxx

Phew…where did all that time go….

Hello Everyone – And a Happy and Healthy New Year to you!!!!

I cannot believe so much time has passed since I last blogged for you. There is quite a bit to catch up with so I suspect this will be a photo heavy post tonight….

First up – That Craft Place – first challenge for 2014 – Charming – so that means that we make our creation and use a charm somewhere in it….here is my project….Charming

I have had this image for a little while and not been sure how or where to use it – I also had this delightful little charm of the airplane and suddenly I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. You might notice the rolled up zip in amongst the flowers here – had this for a while too and was very afraid it would look heavy but I actually think it has turned out okay!  The image is a Lily of the Valley one and it is coloured with Distress Inks. As always you can get in touch with the gang at That Craft Place who will be delighted to help you with selecting items for your Charming project.  When you have finished why not join our challenge over at That Craft Place blog? We love to see everything you make!

Okay….Next up – I joined Love to Create design team some time ago and frankly, for one reason and another I have not been pulling my weight there – a mixture of time and work and not being well with silly colds that seem to have floored me…so here is a selection of pictures from the recent challenges over there….in no particular order….photo 3wtmk photo 2wtmk

I hope you liked these – they are all Christmas themed and I know Christmas is over but…..I will continue to make Christmas type cards throughout the year as I found myself short of cards this year (pick a year when that doesnt happen!!!!).

Okay…and finally…As well as the existing two Design Teams I am proud to belong to I have also been invited onto the Cards Galore Encore design Team, so you should start seeing some links appear over the next few days over there on the right, as I start to get myself organised a bit with all that needs to be done. This is a brand new launch for this design team so head on over and take a look!  Unfortunately my first design for this team is not on the blog this time and this is because I was late getting it in – I have been pretty under the weather since 23rd December and managed to get so far behind with my projects that I am just now playing catch up. My apologies to the DT over at Cards Galore and my apologies also to you for my tardiness! New Years Resolution? Buck up,more vitamins, more fresh air, less colds and GET ORGANISED!!!!

Okay to round up – I will be posting much more regularly ie Weekly for Love to Create, fortnightly for That Craft Place and monthly for Cards Galore…you will be getting sick of me!!!  By the way…anywhere you see blue writing you can click on that as it will link you directly to the group mentioned! All the DT’s I am on are also on FaceBook so dont forget to check them all out on there too!!!!

Until Next time…..Remember to stamp your place in the world! xxx
